Weather service meteorologist Lee Robertson said winds of up to 60 mph were reported in Ringoes in Hunterdon County at 8:50 p.m. "There's trees down all over the place," Essex County Sheriff Armando Fontoura said. "It's a mess out there. It's a real mess. This thing hit us pretty hard. It struck fast and furious."
