Did Miss CA Lose Miss USA for Gay Marriage Views?

It would be disturbing if the judges held Miss California's views on gay marriage against her . I have to commend her for having the courage to state her views truthfully, obviously, in a potentially hostile environment. And why do they even ask these questions to the contestants, especially after the last fiasco (which I pointed out wasn't as bad a fiasco ).
