Montenegro is where Christian, Muslim, Illyrian, Byzantine, Turkish, and Slav people come together and form a tiny population of just under 700,000. This beautiful country is located near the Adriatic Sea and is being marketed as an upmarket tourist destination. Montenegro straddles between the ancient and the modern, East and the West and everything in between. The country has great beaches and ski resorts, all within a few hours of each other.
